Here’s a new post from Battery Replacement – 8D to paired high output Grp24′s :

I am thinking about replacing my 8D starting batteries with a pairs of group 24 1050 cranking amp batteries. The 8D’s have about 1700 cranking amps and the pair of these two batteries should be 2100. Any thoughts if the pair of these will turn over Cat 3116′s?
