Laminate chart or no?

Another newbie question that probably has an obvious answer…you never know though.

I’m picking up two charts for areas I’ll be boating in regularly, coastal inshore. I have a smaller vessel so I don’t have a lot of room. Should I get them laminated?

Anything else to think about?
